Aitches Brithday Bash in Gloucester

My brother had a family birthday bash secretly arranged for his wife, we were all descending on Gloucester for a family meal, special friends included.  Aitch didn't know anything until she found me and my dad sitting in the pub restaurant, huge hugs all round then in walked her neighbour from a few years back.  It was a fine time.

At 6pm we went to get changed for the family meal, Aitch still didn't know how many would be turning up, there were 20 of us in all, including her parents, sister, and daughter etc.  My parents and sister, niece.   In fact for the first time in over 20 years we actually got a full family photo of my parents and us kids, sorry it isn't on the blog due to been in someone else's camera.

Fab meal was had by all, except them seem to lose mine and by time I got it I wasn't very hungry, must have been all that southern comfort I had drunk.

It was great catching up, chatting and having a general laugh.  Thanks for the invite bro.

Aitch dressing for the party she knew nothing about, well guest list wise.

Mr & Mrs Poole, we spoke about a cousin of Mrs Poole who lives in New Zealand whom I happen to be in contact with.  They are such a lovely couple with twinkles in their eyes.

Me and Mr Poole.  I did a family history book for his 80th birthday last year.

Yeah this is my darling brother with Shawn, so glad I am not the only daft one in the family.
