They just had to sit and have their picture taken.
It was during this walk in the gardens that I spoke to a local lady who mentioned the other wooden sculptures with the Alice in Wonderland theme, I think she said that there were to be a total of 48 though not all are finished yet. Below is the start of their tour with the Caterpillar and his magic mushrooms.
In amongst the trees you can see the more of the Orme where the ski field is
Whoever carved these is truly artistic
I presume this one is to show how Alice slid into the rabbit hole when she followed the White Rabbit

Back at the little café in Happy Valley. Having a snuggle and a rest.
A nice hot cup of tea to warm us up from the chill air.
My parents met up with us at the café then we slowly walked back down and along the promenade. This is where we found the Mad Hatter. Once again Oxford and Cariad decided to pose with my dad in the background.
After this we all went back to the Hotel for another wonderful evening meal. I am still not sure how I managed to eat so much..........
