In Boston, Lincs

Back again, not really been doing much for the last few days due to having some sort of bug, still getting over it.

I am at Tina's now, her family are lovely the dogs, well adorable of course, I could jsut take Spud home with me.  A very good friend he makes that is for sure.

On Sunday We went out to Johnsons's Garden Centre in Boston to meet up with my cousin Sarah and Simon who I first met in 2008.  Sarah is a cousin of my mothers on the Brereton side of the family.  It was Sarah who helped me prove that my mothers sister in law was also her cousin.

We all got on like a house on fire, fun and laughter, though me still with a bug I took things slowly.  Sarah and Tina's husband sort of knew each other by sight due to both been teachers, talk about fun and tryign to wind each other up....lol.

We left Johnson's around 3pm, I went back to my cousins house, a charming 200 year old farm house with huge grounds, we caught up on our family genealogy, chatted and explored this old house, a wonderful place you could get lost in or fall down steps...  Just as they were about to take me back to Tina's I remembered photographs, drat I hadn't taken any, and to sum it all up my batteries were flat too....aarrggghh.  Luckily for me Sarah took some photos and emailed them, she also emailed some photographs of Boston from the church tower, I can't say I will ever go up there bit high for me now....

Anyway let me introduce you to Sarah.  Simon was a bit camera shy.

Yeah I just couldnt resist.......lol

So I added this photo too.

The first time I get into town I will take photos of the old building.  I did as Tina about Boston and yes this is where the first Pilgrims to America were from, hence the name of Boston in USA.

I will check out some of the history and hopefully be able to enlighten you...and myself of course ...a bit more.
